Check out this tailer for a short film called “In the Fall of Gravity”.
This is being made by a guy called Ron Cole, who is basically reinventing stopmotion animation by implimenting cable control to his stop motion puppets. This gives the puppets a really unique look, with facial animation that is more expressive and realistic than anything seen in stopmotion before! Really impressive and inspiring stuff.

I just never know what’s gonna pop up next when I do a Google search for the name of my own film, THANKS! for the kind words and taking notice of what I’ve done here. If you take a look at the ‘related videos’ section or ‘more from this user’ on YouTube, you’ll find that I’ve put together another trailer for my film to announce the first public screening that will take place in NYC on Sept. 24 at 8pm.
So cool to find when people are paying attention! Thanks again!

I’m thrilled to report that the first public screening of ‘In the Fall of Gravity’ was a success! I honestly had no idea what to expect from the reaction of the audience. My film has a poetic style that doesn’t ’spoon feed’ it’s meaning to the viewer and I worried that is would leave the audience puzzled or worse… disappointed. But my fears were put to rest with the amazing amount of applause it received before and after the credit roll at the end.
I’ve been getting emails and requests to purchase copies of the film from people who attended the screening, (much to my surprise) and I couldn’t be more delighted by them. Now begins the process of submitting to more festivals, I chose to only do this ONE first just to dip my toes into the festival world and learn the ins and outs of it before moving on to do more. The whole thing went very smoothly and I had a blast!
So keep an eye out for the title of my film showing up at other festivals reel soon!

For a limited time I’ve put ‘In the Fall of Gravity’ into an online film competition where you can see it in it’s entirety until the contest is over. You can see it on a site called BigStar(dot)TV and look for the animation contest in the list of contests on the right side of the home page. This film has a photo of my wizard character as the avatar for it.
Also, if you visit my blog, I’ve made it possible now to get a copy on DVD with extra features on the disk!
